Freon Appliance Recycling

Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners and dehumidifiers contain the coolant Freon.  We accept them for no charge at our Community Recycling Center.   OmniSource in Coldwater will pay for scrap metal appliances and evacuate Freon for no charge.  Some repair and retail establishments have a Freon evacuation charge per unit for recycling, we’ve seen it average $25.  Handle these items with care as to not disturb the coolant system and release the Freon.

Community Recycling Center, 90 Darling Drive Coldwater  MI.  Open Wednesday through Saturday.  9am to 2pm.
